Proposals for the redevelopment of an edge of town centre housing estate for the One Housing Group in order to optimise the site use and create a diversity of accommodation types. Site fronts the prominent Kidswells Park and involved extensive tenant liaison to dovetail the phased decanting of the existing dwellings with the new development.

 

The site contained dilapidated 1970's low-rise buildings placed in random configuration on the site leaving under-utilised and anonymous parcels of land.

 

A total of 272 residential units are designed for different tenures including assisted, affordable, shared ownership and private housing.
