Barking Gurdwara Stone Carving

The construction of this Gurdwara (Sikh temple) created an opportunity of showcasing the best of temple carvings and crafts, normally only witnessed on projects within the Punjab. On this project, we worked with the renowned Trivedi Group in India to develop designs for wall and ceiling panels with the most intricate patterns, initially rough carved with machines and subsequently hand-finished by a team of expert craftsmen at workshops in India. Large panels such this ceiling were designed in sections for precise fitting into a jigsaw pattern, secured to ceiling soffites utilising support technologies developed especially for this project
