New build cultural and community centre commissioned by the Gujarati community and comprises of two multi-function halls and a private theatre performance space arranged around a dramatic atrium. Complex site bordering a busy train line.

This is a unique self-funded project for the Gujarati-speaking Patel community in North London whose brief was to create a forward-looking building that the younger generations could identify with, yet one with which the wider community could be justly proud of.

The Centre is open for hire to the general public. Since its opening in 2005, it has become one of the most popular venues for weddings, banquets, receptions, musical, theatrical and cultural events for the Asian and other communities.

Architecturally, the building utilises a dramatic and unique structural solution to achieve a distinctive form which makes an uplifting contribution to the urban context in this modest North London location.
